johneverd Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 Limiting yourself to PSUs with detachable cables will rule out the best PSUs available. The exrta cables in my kids rig (with an acrylic side) are tucked in below the DVD-RW drives. As you have a fully acrylic case the wires would need to be neatly bagged or boxed somehow in an open bay, to give a clean look. Angry_Games Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 always ask yourself this... is stability and performance more important than looks? is a good looking computer with modular/UV cables going to perform better and be more stable than a computer without a modular psu that has much better specs? is a great looking computer going to get your more frags in BF2 or Quake4?
