fps_shawn Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 Should i ether get a 3700+ San Diegeo E4 or pay 10$ extra for the E6 ? Which one is better for OC/Speed/Stability.
red930 Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 technically each newer revision is better but the majority of us have the e4 stepping instead of e6 lol e4 has a higher temp allowability (lol, is that a word?) it means it can have a max temp of 75C i think... e6 has max temp of 65C i think. shouldnt be much of an ocing difference

In any case, as far as I know they overclock similarly.
Kandoo Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 I've got the E4 and it clocks fine, I run it at [email protected] 24/7. but my max is 2800'ish. note: I have 2x512 bh5 ram at 3.2v have not set the jumper for 4v. $10 is not much for E6. cpu idle:34c max:43c. I will not go above 50c, thats the limit I set for myself.
