sthavorn Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Hi all, My daughter the SIMS2 game kept freezing anything obove 250Mhz. So 250Mhz is ok with me but I would like to know what kind of the best, safest Vcore, Vdimm and all Voltages setting for FSB @250Mhz. My signature is the current setting. Thank you
HamidFULL Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Safe VCore for K8 is 1.5v or 1.55 but Safest is 10% over your current Voltage for Mushkin 2.8v is safe but use a 8x8cm fan for cool your memories but I think best settings for u is : HTT 260Mhz VCore 1.475 and Mem Divider 166 @ 216MHz 3-3-2-8 2.8v
cdidhe Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 safest "v" = lowest "v" to obtain stability. My x2 3800 runs great n 1.375 + 104% - for about 6 months now @ 2.5ghz just keep in mind Higher "v" = higher temps
sthavorn Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Here are my settings: CPU VID Control 1.5v, CPU VID special control=Auto,LDT voltage control=1.2V, Chipset Voltage=1.60V and Dram Voltage=2.8v. Not sure which one to start with to low the voltage.
cdidhe Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 ok id set ldt to 1.2v or lowest and set chipset to lowest value then set cpu to about 1.35v and start prime 95 (if failure raise cpu "v") Raise cpu "v" as needed to be stable as for your memory voltage 2.8v is a good "V" to stay with. i say set chipset and ldt to lowest value as i have ran test and have not seen an increase in performance or stability in raising these values only increase in temps.
