O(V)eGA_l2el) Posted September 15, 2003 Posted September 15, 2003 What are you running in the background? Press Ctrl+Alt+Del then enter your task manager and check how many total processes are running
LobbDogg Posted September 15, 2003 Posted September 15, 2003 Yes while in the Task Manager it'll tell you how much ram is being used by which process. You can then narrow down the problem. And check to see if there is lots of processes too. Some probably are not needed.
O(V)eGA_l2el) Posted September 15, 2003 Posted September 15, 2003 You can also disable unnessecary services and startups (enter services.msc in run command BUT make sure you know what NOT to disable, this site has a guide to the services)and (enter msconfig in run command and go to the startup tab and end any startups you dont need)
