dæmon Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Computer goes through boot process fine and then hangs at the lanparty logo after clearing cmos. I can turn numlock on and off for about a half second then it seems to freeze. Had this problem about a week ago and leaving it off overnight fixed it. People suggested tab/spacebar at logo but computer seems frozen (cannot turn numlock on/off). The reason I have to keep clearing CMOS is because almost every time I shut down and restart I get the long beep error codes (DRAM not found). Also the 5V rail on my powerstream is red while the other two are green. All three used to be green, and I never touched them... dæmon Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 If i hold tab down during boot it will go to regular boot screen (no logo) but still freeze.
