Johnson Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 I would use some sort of Silicone gasket sealant.The blu stuff used there looks like "Hylomar" which is made I think by Loctite in the UK and I have found that it does not really seal well as in it does not cure properly. You need a good silicone type gasket sealant. I work in the motor industry and use this sort of stuff regularly. This is what I would use http://www.loctite.com/int_henkel/loctite_...id=114&layout=3 Its flexible and would allow you to remove the lid again if you needed to.
