madu Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I think memtest is in Genie bios... So you started to get the problem when you installed the mobo drivers..? which ones did you install...? Did you install everytihng at once.. I think you have got yourself a lead... why dont you do a clean uninstall of your mobo drivers and check if windows start properly.. then install mobo drivers one by one, checking everything in between... Behemoth Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Well, earlier on today i did a reinstall from my brothers computer on to my sata drive, I then tried it on my computer and it worked. its now 10:40pm and since this morning ive booted it up and shut it down at least 50 times and i only got 2 bsod's. So this problem may be sorted but im not letting myself be fooled by windows, it may look nice on the outside but on the inside its out to get me.
