unreal Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 Hi guys, Anyways I used voltage tables to pick 1.51v, but in bios + CPU-z and MBM it reads 1.49v. Differences appear with whatever voltage is selected, always a bit lower (.2v is alot tho!) Thanks P.s. this happened with Athlon 3200+ Winchester also. EdLSmith Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 BIOS voltages are read and interpreted by software. Depending on the programmer they can report high or low. We have generally noted a -.018 voltage reading vs multimeter readings, but it can vary from board to board.
Guest FZ1 Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 Ed is right. See link in my sig for measuring voltage with a DMM tool.
