Guest philds Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 My new build is below, apart from memory issues I had at first (3 millions errors in 23mins) everything is running smoothly now. As you can see I have 2 Seagate SATA drives in RAID0 which is working great but the system tray icon for removable devices lists both the SATA drives. Now I know SATA are hotswapable and can be removed but because I run RAID0 im worried that I may click on a drive instead of my USB memory stick by mistake and mess up my array. This wasnt the case for my previous mobo that used a VIA RAID chip so its new to me to see the drives there. Is there some way I can exclude these drives from the list? THunDA Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 That icon is normal when using a sata drive.. If you do a search for "Safely Remove Hardware" you will find many threads about this already..
