i like tictacs Posted August 2, 2003 Posted August 2, 2003 meh, I had a 256mb ddr stick, and i added in a 512stick on an nforce2. i put it in the two blue slots. good idea, bad, etc..? I've haerd that your only supposed to run the same sticks in dual channel, ie, 256 and 256. what i'm wondering is if it will be ok for a 512 and a 256 to run together. Dualddr only works when each channel(different colors) have the same amount of ram. Get another 256 stick and put the two 256's in the blue and the 512 in the (grey??) and you've got dual channel.
