Why buy what you can easily do yourself? Most of the stuff they list sounds lame at best in terms of impact on gaming. All the other stuff you can do yourself easily...just go to tweakxp.com and search for the various optimizations.

Junk - 3rd party software tinkering with all your OS registry settings and such can really raise holy h*** with your system!

 

Go to BlackViper's site for tons of info on tweaking your OS for best performance, including what services are safe to turn off in XP "Pro" and "Home";

now when the question is answered...where is the equilevant to agp aperture size in the DFI bios? ...always had mine to the same as gfx ram ...but read it is like a pagefile for gfx...using the RAM....so lowering it to 32mb would make sufficient gfxRAM for my 6800GT and free some system RAM for BF2...which is needed.
