dosu Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 I'm having trouble with the on board sound, i got the driver from nForce_6.53_WinXP2K_english.exe and programs like media player and winamp are fine but if i use vlc player or others to play a dvd is all loud and scratchy. I think for some reason it tries to use hardware sound but im not sure and i cant find any options in the sound or in vlc player to fix it.
