Recommended Posts

Going to be running this:

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3700+ Socket 939 San Diego Core

Mobo: DFI Lanparty nF4 SLI-DR

Videocard: XFX PVT70FUNDE Geforce 7800GTX 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16

PSU: ENERMAX All in One Noisetaker Series EG701AX-VE SFMA(24P) ATX12V

600W

and was wondering if DDR550 (G.SKILL 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 550 (PC 4400) Unbuffered Samsung TCCD Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model F1-3200DSU2-1GBLE) is going to be better then DDR400 (CORSAIR XMS 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model TWINX1024-3200XLPT).

Any suggestoins would be greatly appreciated and money doesn't matter so suggest whatever is the best for this setup including any other memory that you would suggest.

I have these and they are quite worthy.

I have the TCC5 version, some come in TCCD, the label on mine says v1.1 and thats TCC5 if you get them without the v1.1 they are TCCD.

Mine are doing ddr600 at 2.8 volts bios, software says 2.84 and they're at 2.5-4-4-8

I can push these at least 25mhz more I would imagine, about $20 cheaper than the 4800's also
