I found out what was messing my computer up. I has a WD 1TB black that held me hostage. It was 10 years old so maybe it was time. The rest of the box is working fine.

Windows 7 system. Just started to take forever to shut down and start up. HD light is on continually/ I upgraded my HD recently by I exchanged the new one with the old one and it still does the same. Any Ideas? I checked the Task Manager and no programs are running.

Thanks for the suggestions. Samsung Magician was the problem. I upgraded my storage and installed that program. I guess every company wants to make themselves known.

Some item shoots from middle of screen towards start button after start in windows 7. I don't seem to have any problems but it's weird since it just started about a month or two ago. Anybody have an idea what it is and maybe how to get rid of it?

I finally edited my channel list and it's down to 31 which is the same number as I paid Xfinity for. I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks.
I actually paid Xfinity for 140 channels but only a max of 31 were worth watching.

I just got my antenna and it's sitting next to my TV. I picked up 47 channels crystal clear. At the end of the month good by Xfinity

Thanks for the great replies. I did a little more research and found out that most of Chicago's stations broadcast from antennas on top of what was once called the Sears tower which puts them at around 1600 ft. I ordered Antennas Direct ClearStream 2V TV Antenna, 60+ Mile Range from Amazon and I'm going to try it indoors first and if it doesn't work next will be in the attic then if it doesn't work back to Amazon.

I'm getting rid of comcast TV so I'm looking for a good indoor antenna . I live between Chicago and Milwaukee, about 45 miles north of Chicago. Has anyone had good luck with the new types of indoor antennas? I can't put anything on the roof.

Does anyone know of a health watch product that records heart beat,, sleep, steps, etc. that plugs into a windows 7/10 computer? I'm a 73 yrs old widower who doesn't have anyone to call so I don't need a SmartPhone.

You could always put up a sign "Natural prairie grass, do not mow."

Tie a couple of ropes to the handle, let gravity pull the mower downhill, use the ropes to guide and pull the mower uphill.

I remember when LG was GoldStar. The quality of their products then was weak, but since the name change, they have put quality first.

Check out the motherboard website for compatible ram with good reviews, then look for a sale, then have your son cut a few more lawns and get 16gb. You will not be sorry getting the extra ram.

The color of the print on your post is so dim it is impossible to read.
I couldn't read it either until I clicked and dragged my mouse to the bottom as if to copy. But he should still change his print color.
