bp9801 Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Didn't see a topic for the game, so here it is. Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion was shown off back in January. It is a new stand-alone expansion for the game that adds Loyalists and Rebels to all the factions. Huge Titan super capital ships can be built to wage destruction on your foes, but you can also go the diplomatic route if you so choose. Screenshots. Teaser trailer. Full trailer. Launches on June 12th for $40.
NikoDG Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Looks pretty cool, does anyone have anything good/bad to say about the previous ones?

mojunikey7 Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Loved sins and the first expansion, the second expansion was a little bit ridiculous though. The learning curve was a 90 degree angle against the pirates in diplomacy.
sack_patrol Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 i think it's a decent rts game on a huge scale. Maps can be as small as 10 planets and as big as 3 galaxies each containing it's own solar systems. games can take a loooooooong time to complete even on the fastest setting. It's got a very deep diplomacy obviously. Lots of research paths and lots of different units. Well made interface so it simplifies gameplay. No campaign whatsoever. only skirmishes or online play. It's a fine game. One of the better rts games in recent history. Especially with the galactic/space theme considering the amount of games focusing on medieval themes.
