CheeseMan42 Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 A new record has been set in the 3DMark Fire Mark Extreme benchmark by K|ngp|n, who became the first person to break the 40,000 point mark. In order to hit the mark, four GeForce Titan X cards were overclocked to 2200MHz with an Intel Core i7-6950X running at 5227MHz. Other components of note were an EVGA X99 FTW K motherboard, 32GB G.Skill DDR4, and an EVGA SuperNova NEX 1600W PSU. The use of a custom liquid nitrogen cooling setup was required to keep everything running while pushed so far above the stock speeds. ccokeman Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 And to think I was proud of pushing my gaming rig to the top 5 spots for my combo in Time Spy! In the top 50 overall but still! Awesome job pushing this kind of result! K|ingp|n keeps crushing it!
