The drivers are still in beta. I found the quality to be much worse than in 7 and even than my onboard audio in 8. I would wait for the next driver release.

Once I've used it with win 8 for 2-3 days. Driver and sound quality sucks. Its nothing compared to Windows 7 quality.

You can do just one thing: wait for the release of stable driver.
Hopefully things will get better.
