I can't seem to play BF3 because of the error below.

Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster.
Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'bishop245' (for 0 minutes) ...
RESTRICTION: Service Communication Failure: PnkBstrA.exe

I had to reinstall windows tonight, and I reinstall origin, BF3, Dead Space2. Haven't tried any other PB enabled games yet, because I want to play BF3 :cry:

go to the punkbuster site and download the update from there.... I had to do that last time i re-installed as some game I had wouldnt work

I am also redownloading BF3 as it seemed like it was messed up too. I couldn't even play the single player without it crashing, so I guess it will be tomorrow before I get to play :cry:

Punkbuster tends to update without telling anyone.

I just leave the updated on my desktop and as soon as I get an error like that I run the update.

not at home right now so can't check on things, but I hope to god I can play tonight since i dled bf3 again and reinstalled it and have dled pb too so we will see

Its a gaming software that helps hacks from happening.

If that does not work I hop in a Madcat and Blast it to microscopic Particles.
