I have the HX1000 for my server (modded fan) from 2-3 years ago, did they just release the HX1050 to put 50 more Watts in there?

^^ noise regulator/ ripple remover gets better in 1050. And, above all, periodic new release is needed to make a business dynamic. ;)

^^ noise regulator/ ripple remover gets better in 1050. And, above all, periodic new release is needed to make a business dynamic. ;)


Yeah, there are always some additions each year. It's like when Thermaltake started releasing the X75W units to provide a little bit higher wattage but also more stable/cleaner power. Not a huge jump in wattage, but the units performed better overall.
