yes, your computer does need to be turned off as well as the power button on the back of your power supply. You can leave the jumper in the clear position for 5-10 minutes or even longer if you'd like. After clearing the cmos make sure you switch the jumper back to the normal position BEFORE you turn your computer back on. and you should be good to go. hope this helps

Yea tweak50 i definitely agree with you on that one. C++ is horrible, I have been told that C++ is basically taking the long route to everything and its all just busy work compared to the other languages.

UncleDavid I have the same processor and have been experiencing a similar problem. I can bring my FSB up to 380 mhz and be orthos stable. but once i increase it to 385 my comp wont even boot. i was just wondering if it was just the chipset voltage that you increased or if you altered any other specifications? thanx
