  1. Hey guys I have my chipset watercooled with a Zalman NB block and mine idles at 50c. It gets to about 55c under load and there is nothing I can do about it.. The rest of my wc loop is at around 35, water temp is like 30. So I gather that is the normal operating temp of the ati chipset.... I am in aussie though and it is quite hot here 362 days of the year.
  2. Ok cool man, Yeah I have vf900's on both my cards too, I swear by them, think I have bought about 6 or 7 of em now . I am running the new ati drivers, 7.3 ?? maybe. They seem to be going ok. It was definitely a wierd little bug, oh well. Thanx for the support bro, Good on ya
  3. Ok cool, A question off topic here seems you have crossfire going, was wondering if you run your cards ocd at all. I have been tryin to mod the bios clocks of mine and run them with CCC but it will not work. Is CCC the only program that can run crossfire??? I have noticed with ATI tool etc that it only oc's one card.. When I mod the bios of both cards CCC still detects both cards as 500,500 (mem,GPU). Any ideas or should I post a new thread in correct section.... Good on ya
  4. Ok, My pcisb voltage is stock @ 1.8v, its showing 1.79 in bios. Do you think I should possibly raise this a little since I am runnning 2 cards??? What do you have yours @ Lavell?? I removed both my vcards last night when I was stuffing around with them and reinstalled everything and the pc seems to be running ok now...
  5. Hey Lavell Yeah I have the four pin connected. I am not sure about the voltages for the pci in Bios though, I had a look around there and couldn't find anything. I know about the 10% extra current for GFX1 & 2, but not the actual voltage.. Where can I find that value??
  6. Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have had this board for about 3 months and its been running great but all of a sudden (2 days ago) the power LED starts flashing constantly and although the rig runs fine in windows, once it goes to standby after about an hour it won't come back on and my adsl modem isn't flashing either ( as if pc crashed) all I can do it a hard reset. It also seems to crash in games a lot all of a sudden. I have done some research but cannot find any answers on the LED. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :eek2:
  7. I bought a ZALMAN HP600 about 3 months ago and it is great. I havent found all that much info on it but apparently it has the same internal supply as the OCZ 700w. I would reccommend this to anyone, as with most things from Zalman it is great quality. Its heavy, got a heatpipe cooler in the back, quiet and with a blue neon fan it looks the part ( if your into lights and so on).
  8. Hey allston I have this board with 2gb ocz xtc platinum pc3200. With all mem options set to auto I get 2.5,3,2,5 @ 2.65v. I found all I had to do was change the cas from auto to 2 and now it boots @ 2,3,2,5 @ 2.65v. I am not sure if your version has the same chip in it as the XTC but mine do not oc that good, I can get to about 235Mhz @ 3,4,4,8 before funny sh$# starts happening. From what I have read they do not like to much voltage, mine are not different @ 3v than 2.7v. I just leave em @ 2.7. Hope this helped a little Good on ya
  9. Hi all Pretty sure this is my first post. I think.. Its good to see dfi street back. It is probably the best forum sight I have seen. Just some info for vitamincat, I just did a heap of research on these two kits and I would definitely reccommend the PC4000 kit if you are overclocking. I ended up going with the XTC 3200 2gb kit as I got it really cheap off some lad on ebay. The kit I have is great but it does not oc that much. I can get about 235Mhz @ 3,4,4,8 stable. I believe the PC4000 will oc to around 265MHZ stable @ 3,4,4,8. So either way, oc'in or not I would definitely grab the PC4000. You might even be able to get them down to 2,2,25 @ 200Mhz. Good on ya
