I'm sorry, I'm still confused as to what is going on here...do these ULI errors just show up from usage of the ULI sata ports, or just when raid is enabled? Is everyone pissed that they can't set up raid between the two controllers? And my last question, which was actually gonna be my first question: Is it possible to use both the Sil and ULI sata ports at the same time, but with no intention of a raid array? I'm getting more HDD's and I like to use the Sil ports but I have yet to get this accursed ULI error and am scared to do anything to F'up my rig. Thx.

Yea, I own the A8R32 too. It ain't bad, just kinda of a nub board. CFX3200 is a bad mofo once you get the kinks ironed out.

If you wanna stay outta of trouble, just make sure your rig is well ventilated, and that your chipset is staying cool enough. I never had problems with this board, except the SIL, but I then put some quieter fans on my machine, and fudded up the installment of a new chipset cooler, and it literally screwed up my machine and the way this board works for like two months. I put on my noisy, yet useful fans again, and voila, no crashes. Yet, when I turn off my comp, it restarts after like a minute. Trying to figure this one out...

I got it working, I had to completely uninstall all creative software, and then I had to use the CD that came with it, install drivers, use the device manager also to install, and voila, it appeared. Updated drivers, everything working fine now, cept' the stupid butt comp reboots when I shut it down about 80% of the time...

Hey there, I was wondering if anyone has run into their X-Fi soundcard not being detected. I'm really f'in confused as to why my system would all the sudden decide to not detect my soundcard...

Try 2.9V for your RAM. Set your Tras lower, to like 8. Um, other than that, I don't know, I'm used to opteron mem controllers, it just depends what your processor likes. It might require a lower mem divider *bump*.

It detects my 2D clocks fine (500/600). But you have to go into the section where it lets you choose the device it detects, and select the R580 option(or somethin like that).
