Yeah I have seen these TT on the net but I dont really like the idea. Als it is something new and propably there will be some problems before they got the whole idea right. Thanks all for the help.

So do you think 700W for the stuff below will be enough. I understand that these components dont run all at once. LANPARTY UT NF4 SLI-DR Venus FX-60 @ 3GHz 2GB OCZ PC4000 Gold GX XTC 2x Asus 7900GTX Soundblaster X-FI Extreme Music 2x 150GB Raptors RAID 0 120GB WD (on USB) DVD-ROM DVD-RW 655 water pump, 6 120mm fans Logitech Fusion, G15, Scanner, printer, G5, Bluetooth adapter and USB HDD

Yes I have looked there but no luck. I know that 1KW is too much. Emailed few US retailers and no luck they dont ship to AU. I found epsilon 700W PSU. Maybe I should go for that one? Ahh gave me a headache.

Some updates. I looked in many places for recommended PSU but all of them either no stock nor ETA so I decided to get 1KW one. Man it is a monster but works like dream. I wonder if I could get extra leeds and power up my screen and fridge too

I thought about shipping OCZ 700 from USA but I dont know any places I could get one from and they ship to AU. Any recommendations ?

I had a look at that PSU and it looks good. However I'm in Australia and nobody have it yet. I had 1000W PSU for about 2 hours to play around (my mate got one from US) and it powered my system nicely. They are cost arm and leg tho. I wish I could get OCZ 700W but it will take a long while till they get here

Thanks all for help. I had a look at that calculator before. I have placed order for 1000W power supply. I know it is a little bit overkill but I wont have to worry when WC will come to play sometime later.

I wonder what power supply should I get for system below FX-60 (overclocked to 3GHz) 2GB RAM 2x 7900GTX SLI 2x 150 GB Raptors RAID 0 Dfi Venus SB X-FI DVD-ROM DVD/RW TV Tuner card 10 120mm fans External USB HDD, scanner, printer, mouse, kb, bluetooth adapter and logitech cam. I was wondering if Enermax Liberty 620W will be enough. I used web calc but it told me that I need at last 780W. I have read recommendations and now I'm puzzeled:confused:

Yep that works but its a paint to keep recconecting. I thought it might be IRQ sharing but I cant check if I cant boot it in windows. Thanks for the linkg I will give it a shot.

The only reason I have an SLI is Dell screen. Nided more power to feed this monster. I picked pair of Asus cards (non factory OC just plain) no problems at all. I have read many threads where people had too much troubles with these OCd cards. EDIT: Err my sig gone:|

I have a problem with Logitech cam. Before I had a Logitech Pro 3000 and everything was ok. Today I bought Logitech sphere and installed on PC with latest driver from web. Rebooted ok. Next reboot and I couldnt get to windows login screen. Hmm... unpluget cam and rebooted and everything ok. Tried to run stock speeds overclocked no matter what I cant get into login screen with Logitech fusion connected. I think that driver might causes this problem. Any ideas? EDIT: Running windows XP Pro SP2 all updates installed

Installed 32bit Vista. Did all stuff pll suggested in here but no go. What worked for me was removing all partitions from RAID and RAID itself. I tried with the raid but Vista seen it as 2 single drives and when rebooted system saw it as a RAID and said no OS installed. Using it now and so far so good. EDIT: How do I remove that uselles message pooping up everytime I want to do something or program need access.

lolek74 replied to lolek74's topic in Processors, Motherboards and Memory
Thanks for the imput. Yes I forgot update my sig. It loks like I had wrong settings in BIOS: PCI eXpress Configuration 2-1-1-8 this what I had PCI eXpress Configuration 8-4-NC-8 This what i should have. Both of the cards are from Asus. -
I reinstalled windows and still cant enable SLI. Here waht I got Also noticed that there is "Other PCI device" in the hardware manager. I need the driver for it but what is it?

I set up RAID on my Expert and no problems. But here what I have noticed It has 2 controlers SIlicon and NVraid. Make sure that Silicon one is DISABLED. Also make your RAID bootable. Aha and when you create RAID make sure that 1st drive is 0 and second 1 not vice versa. At last it worked for me.
