no i have a splitter i bouhgt from radio shack on the green jack, so my headset is plugged into the splitter and so is the speakers. so maybe the key is to plug my headset into the headphone port on the volumn control for the speakers. ima try that right now, but even if that solves things, my biggest problem is now that my headset (the MIC) is not plugged in, and wont reach. _Albert

sure have, got the ones from nvidia.com first, those didnt work, then tried the ones on the cds...

no they arnt shorted, they soudn different when i plug into rear jack, front jack, side jack. they work find on my friends computer, but not on mine.

I have the DFI NF4 Ultra-D 939 motherboard. I also am using the onboard krajan sound chip/card. I have a 5.1 surround logitech z5300 speakers. I am using the drivers that came on the dfi cd. the sound works fine for my speakers............... problem is... it splits up my sound when im trying to use headphones for my counter stike i havent been albe to scrim properly ever since upgrading to this board. like in the game i hear only hear very loudly whats to the left and right but not to the front, or if i plug it into a different output i only hear front and rear. i konw the obvious solution is to go into nv mixer and tell it i am using headphoesn but this does not solve the problem. PLEASE HELP :confused:

umm shouldnt the processors be named in the excel file

i just sold my 3700 sandy because i couldnt get it to OC past 2.64 ghz. for about 300 you can land one off of ebay. how well do fx 53 ocs?

This is the dealio. Had a Cabge 3700+ sd. Couldnt get it stable above 2.65ghz i bought a thermaltake typhoon, and i felt it was a waste caasue my temps were so low but i couldnt overclock anymore. so i listed my 3700 on ebay. now i need a new processor so around 200-250 what should i get?????? I have a DFI - Ultra -D NF4 GSkill 2gb Kit DDR500 PC4000 Thermaltake Typhoon 36gb WD Raptor. I see on Ewiz the AMD 3700 OEM is going for 199+shipping. Are oem chips bad? Or should i go for opterons here. Please HELP

1. Two sticks of memory generally allows you to overclock better than four sticks because four sticks puts more strain to the CPU's memory controller. Four sticks also requires 2T command rate, though there's not really much performance difference between 1T and 2T. 2. I believe orange slots is for low-voltage memory modules such as TCCDs. Yellow slot is for high voltage memory modules such as BH-5 or UTT. 3. It all comes down to your preference. Looser timings can be compensated by running high MHz.

quick specs: amd 3700 dfi ultra 2gb 2x1gb pc4000 ddr500 gskill the highest i have been albe to get stable is 260 x 10 = 2600mhz 1:1 timings my memory is at 3:4:4:8 , the spd timings ltd =3 memory voltage at 2.8 ltd at 1.3 cpu voltage at 1.55 when i go to 265 fsb i cant do super pi or anything, windows crashes in like less then a minute. edit: so what should i do now? i have tried 241x11 but that doestn work either suggestions please oh yeah and because im using thermaltake typhoon, my temps are 23 idle and 34 max cpu load

saruman what are your voltages for your memory? cpu? ltd? chipset? i have a sandy 3700 90nm and i cant get anything stable past 250htt i have my memory settings to 1:2 (100mhz) and EVERY timing to auto. ive read over alot and im having quite a bit of problems with the gskill 2gb 2x1gb memory
