  1. are the Enermax Liberty series good? I am looking at the Liberty 500W and wondering if it can handle SLI and a several hard drives and case fans plus overclocking. thanks
  2. thanks for all the help guys I think Seagate is my top choice at the moment due to my experience with them and your recommendations. however, I can get a larger capacity drive for almost the same price which will be faster since the 7200.8 isn't that fast. How is the Maxtor Maxline 3? I heard that it is designed for corporations so it will run 24/7 with no problems. it also has a 5 year warranty, same as Seagate. it seems to me that this is a great hard drive do you guys agree with this? anyone have experience with the Maxtor Maxlines?
  3. thanks guys, Seagate it is for me  the 250GB 7200.8 is around $110 and the 250GB 7200.9 is around $160. Do you think its worth spending $50 extra for the newer model?
  4. I need a 250GB hard drive but I am a tough time deciding which one to get. Here are my choices: HITACHI Deskstar T7K250 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16822145087 Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16822148065 Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16822144701 I have a Seagate hard drive and it has been very good to me so I like Seagate and they are my top choice. However, I am willing to consider the other drives as well if someone can convince me. My criteria for choosing a hard drive is (in order): 1. Reliability - it must be very reliable and last me a long time 2. Performance - obviously I want something very fast 3. Quietness - I prefer a quiet hard drive Thanks in advance
  5. but you have a Antec PSU in your sig, Im assuming it was troublesome?
  6. I just checked Fortrons website and it says under normal loads the total amps are 25A or less. Also, the total wattage is about 445W. I agree that this is a great psu, though. It seems like its made with great parts.
  7. If that is the case, then why is the Fortron Blue Storm on the "A" list? I believe it only has 24A and is about 460W. I find this odd
  8. Hey have the Antec NeoHEs gotten better? Is it safe to buy one now?
  9. its not just Toms Hardware saying that the Seasonic 600W is one of the best power supplies. http://www.pureoverclock.com/review.php?id=15&page=1 I understand the OCZ is fine, but Seasonic has one of the best track records in the PSU market. thanks
  10. heh, that quietness and efficiency has rocked me over  3 year warranty is more than enough for me. I just read the review where a Seasonic got better ratings than a PCP&C and the Enermax Noisetaker 600W. also on Toms Hardware, they seem to indicate that this is the best power supply. i'll still consider the OCZ Powerstream 520W but Seasonic has really shown me that they're one of the best PSU makers out there. are adjustable rails really necessary?
  11. Well I was thinking about getting a Seasonic 600W or 500W since they look to be among the best. They have a 80% efficiency, and it may save a me a few pennies  I was originally thinking about the OCZ Powerstream 520W but the Seasonic 600W and 500W are quieter, more efficient and the same price. Please comment.
  12. I have a question: Does better efficiency in a power supply really reduce your monthly electricity bill?
  13. oh right, so you're smart because we disagree on a component and you think you're pwning me? whoopdeedoo 3D Fuzion is made by BFG. I dont think its too hard to comprehend. The board is quality. 3D Fuzion is like the value branch of BFG. And guess what? XFX is considered crap by many places on the internet outside of this forum. So its all about knowledge or lack thereof. XFX is fine and makes great cards but so does 3d Fuzion, especially for the price. But everyone has their beliefs on picking a GPU.
  14. dual cores are the future. Wish I had the money to get a X2 4400+ or even a X2 3800+
  15. that is just not right. All these 7800GTs are the same with minor differences. Same core, same everything. 3D Fuzion is owned by BFG, a company whose card you have in your sig. Please think before you type this stuff.
