  1. Hi. What is the best overclocking 1GB DDR2 module under $60 right now? I am building a media center SFF PC, so it's not the most hardcore affair, and the cooling might not be the best. Nonetheless, I am interested in finding something that will get at least 850MHz on a voltage that is reasonable for a SFF PC (I haven't worked with DDR2 in the past, so I'm not sure how the voltage is relative to DDR...I imagine 2v is pretty healthy). If it's worth the extra cost, don't hesitate to recommend a slightly more expensive module! Thanks.
  2. Hi. In the Overclocking forums, many people talk about using all 4 power connectors on the motherboard for optimum stability. However, I only see 3 on my motherboard and on the chart of the motherboard. Is there a power connector that is not obvious that I am missing? Can someone please name the general locations of all the power connectors, please? Thanks.
  3. What difference in performance did you notice going from 260 CAS1.5 to 265 CAS2? I would think that 260 CAS1.5 would provide better performance.

  5. and where is the jumper anyway...btw, I don't have the mobo in front of me yet, I am building it tomorrow for my friend (it's not for me)
  6. if I am running my mem at 3.1v, then should I still change to 5v memory jumper?
  7. Hi. I know many people are using the 5v memory jumper setting for their Redline XP4000. What are the advantages of doing so? Thanks.
  8. None of those are great for overclocking. Just get some good ones locally or keep the ones you have now because they are just as good or better than the choices you listed above.
  9. Hi. I thought it would be a good idea to start a dedicated thread for Mushkin Redline XP4000. This may provide helpful information for people to tweak their Redline. Please post the following settings you used here: Clock, Size, Comprehensive RAM Timing Information, Voltage, Stability Data, CPU Core + Batch Number, BIOS used, orange or yellow slots, and any other pertinent information Thanks. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [edit] Post A64 Tweaker pics if available. Thanks.
  10. Hey, I am planning on putting AS5 on my NF4 Ultra-D's northbridge. Should I put a small dot and let the pressure of the heatsink spread it out (like the CPU) or should I spread it out manually. I know it would be be bad to get thermal paste on my board so I am thinking that it would be safer to spread it out manually as thinly as possible while covering the entire chip, but what are your thoughts? Thanks.
  11. Yes, it does limit to 240FSB with SATA 1 and 2. I'm not sure exactly why; I think I read about it a while ago, but I forgot. I just disabled SATA 1 and 2 and only use SATA 3 and 4.
