  1. If you just raise the multiplier slightly and leave voltage at stock, you should be OK (unless your chip is a real dog). Raising the FSB raises other issues as you will be OC'ing memory and other components. So, just raise your multiplier a couple of notches and then stress check the system. Hopefully, it will remain cool and stable. Just about any good chip with decent cooling can be overclocked a few GHz without any problems.

  4. We do need AMD around to keep Intel from slacking off on performance, but dominating price. Its too bad that AMD has fallen behind. I'm still an AMD fan, and hope they don't go the way of Comp USA.
  5. Yes, Dell likes to use non-standard psu connectors. So standard psu's can be a problem.
