ochelz Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 I just installed my new computer and my screen is blurry when the resolution is high. Its like im seeing two icons on the desktop. It wasnt like this before with my older computer. I have a IBM CRT Flat monitor. I was using a DVI plug but for some reason it wouldnt work anymore, so i grabbed a extra VGA plug and plugged that instead. I didnt use any converters or anything since the monitor has a VGA and a DVI output in the back. Could that be the problem? Or could it be my video cards? red930 Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 The only way to be sure is to hook it up to another computer and see what the display looks like. I had an HP rig lose the video card 10 minutes out of the box. Bad things happen to good hardware.
Couch Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 Might want to try to reinstall the crt driver for dvi. It also can be a problem with the settings on your video cards. Try some default settings. If all else fails just try one card at a time to narrow it down to not being the sli setup or the monitor. .
