Angry_Games Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 your signature says you are using 3/10 bios 3/10 does not support Venice cpu if you have not flashed to 5/10/2005 or later then do so. if you already have, then you need to change your signature to reflect the version you currently have flashed to. you also need to list your power supply, the exact model and wattage
dane Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 so.. now i have edited my signature.. do you think, you can help me Angry Games??
bigheadache Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 OCZ 510watt powerstream PSU - enoguh power for sure... must the LEDS on the back of the PSU glow GREEN?? right now, they clow yellow... You know when you get new stuff it doesn't hurt to RTFM. If the lights are yellow all of your rails are undervolting.
dane Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 #18: could the undervolting be the problem? how to i get normal volting?
bigheadache Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 #18: could the undervolting be the problem? how to i get normal volting? Turn the dials until the LED turns green. Best to do this while you are in the BIOS looking at the voltages. As to whether it fixes your problem, who knows, but undervolting is certainly not helping. dane Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 #20: this wont damage my system or anything - that i raises the volts??
bigheadache Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 #20: this wont damage my system or anything - that i raises the volts?? Its supposed to be green. I have no idea why you dropped it to yellow. If its red then you are overvolting which is risking the machine. Go to the BIOS. you'll notice the voltages are too low compared to what they should be. eg 12v rails shows 11v or something. When the LEDs are green then they will be close to what they should be.
Angry_Games Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 read this for adjusting your rails: http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12085
