BOJAICR Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 Ok, guys i set up 2 SATA II 80 Gb hard drives onto raid 0, but arent gonna be my OS drives.I already got and OS on another drive. In the BIOS, the partition is healthy, and detected, both drives are formated with NTFS.But windows doesn't detect the array. What should I do??? Angry_Games Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 windows wont detect the array until you have loaded RAID drivers within windows you also need 5.10 or later bios for San Diego support. I suggest 5/10-2 as that is all I use (-2 version)
BOJAICR Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 O got the RAID drivers loaded, when the array was setup, and I threw the NF4 Raid drivers on the floppy.I formated them Via windows setup, but didn't let windows copy files to them.Windows setup did detect them, and once windows boots, it told me about new hardware found, and also installed the RAID drivers to it with th floppy.
