Well, to tell you the truth, I first joined DFI Street so that I could see what issues I might encounter and help make decisions on any other componenents I might need. I figured I was going to have some obstacles to overcome and I would have to post for help and maybe figure out some issues and share my findings with the community.

Well, I'm kinda disappointed that I really have nothing to share. The board fired right up and after flashing the BIOS, I went right to OCing the board to my 24/7 settings ( 260 x 10 - 2600MHz 1.45v 1:1 2.5-3-3-8 2.8v ). Not a single hiccup to post about.

So if you are having problems with your DFI board, don't ask me.............LOL.

The reason I posted here is because of all the nightmare stories that have circulated about the DFI nF4 boards. People should see some more positives about these motherboards. The title was kind of a "sneaky" way to get people to read it and see that these boards are actually very good and well worth your time if you want solid performance.

I haven't had a single problem with my setup. I've been running solid since an hour after I plugged the last device in.

The Lanparty UT nF4 SLI-DR has been flawless in operation. I just completed the last prime95 with no errors for 12 hours.

I haven't made any tweaks to the system just to see what happens with a straight-out-of-the-box setup following the setup guide.

I'm running a 3200+ Winchester 90nm CPU and PQI Turbo RAM TCCD on Brainpower 808 PCB. Two Hitachi 80GB SATA II with 3.0Gb turned on.

That's not to say I haven't had any problems. After my Blue Storm went PFFFT! I realized I had forgotten to break the array coming out of my 250Gb. I had to put the drives back in that rig to break the array. On the first OS install I forgot to uncheck the nVidia IDE drivers and got a BSOD on reboot. I was able to use the Last Known Good selection to get back up and running.

What kind of 3DMark2003 scores are you getting with the dual 6600GT's?

I've also not had a single problem with my board been completely stable without issue.

The only glitch I've had was trying to configure motherboard monitor, for some reason when I selected one of the sensors the cpu temp spiked to over 60 for a second which tripped the shutdown temp I have set in the bios. So I'm using speed fan now without problem.
