aspevacek Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 For those on a tight budget I would like to suggest the Geil PC4000 Ultra Platinum series Ram. I picked some up at Fry's last month on sale for 79.00 a stick and I was going to put it in my wifes computer so I could recliam my Patriot form her, well the long or short of it is I now have 2 512 Sticks of Twin X PC4000PT setting here on my computer desk caus ethis cheap Geil Ram will run circles around the Corsair that costs almost twice as much. Guest LightSpeed Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 picked up a kit of the Geil Ultra Platinum DDR500 (2x512mb) and they can do 260 without a problem using 2.5/4/4/7, 2.8v. Price is around $260cdn for a kit. I didn't get much of a chance to push them further as they are in a customers rig, but he is very happy with it

Carnajo Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 I was excited to see this since Geil is available locally, but the price here is the equivalent of $500, not too nice if you ask me That was for a 1Gb DDR550 DC kit.
