gibsonantony Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Thought it would be better to centralise the 6xx seies posts in one as theyre all over the place. I'm currently running 4438Mhz on a 650. I'm using a Mach II & Geil PC4000 @ 261 fsb 1:1 The Vcore is @ 1.5v The temp reading are now constant using the Prommi. Constantly wrong LOL. CPU , system temp 25c.

Carnajo Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 I guess here would be more appropriate for me to ask that for the official release of the 6xx support BIOS, we have an option to disable EIST or C1E.

NoAffinity Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Did ya'll see Post# 22 of This Thread What part of the thread? There are some plain lame claims made by the thread starter, who was too lazy to figure out how to disable EIST and thermal monitoring before denouncing the 6XX series entirely (some OC'er )...and then at the end of the thread, a 26s SuperPi @ 4.4 GHz.
BigStan Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 I'm reading Post#22 and Devil DK has a pretty good OC going with a 640 on an 875P-T.
NoAffinity Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 I'm reading Post#22 and Devil DK has a pretty good OC going with a 640 on an 875P-T. Can't argue with that. Very impressive, indeed...it's just the thread starters efforts that are extremely dismaying.
BigStan Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Yea, I saw that. Bothered me for a little while. Seems like maybe he found a solution. Maybe he'll calm down and get a good OC going.
MikeyLikesItSI Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 That really annoys the hell out of me that he couldn't OC it within 8 hours, so he immediatly posts all over every forum he's a member to that nobody should buy it, its a hunk of garbage, and its a waste. I think exactly the opposite! i think its a great chip so far!
