Hello

Thank you for contacting Vivendi Universal Games Technical Support.

Lets try a few trouble shooting steps,

1. Close other applications before running the game.

Other applications like screen savers, virus scanners, etc... may take away system resources that the game needs to run smoothly and also appear to cause problems when running in the background.

To be sure you have shut down all of your applications, follow these steps:

-Click on your Start button and then click on Run

-Type in msconfig and then click OK

*If your computer is in Normal Startup do the following:

- Click the button that says Selective Startup.

- Uncheck the box that says Load Startup items (Load Startup Group items for Win 98/ME)

- Click on Apply and then click Close or OK.

- Answer yes to restart the computer.

- Once restarted, if the msconfig window appears you can just close it.

Say No to restarting if it asks.

*If your computer is set for Selective Startup do the following:

- Click the Startup tab at the top.

- Get a piece of paper and write down the names of the items that have checkmarks next to them.

- Uncheck all of the items.

- Click Apply and then click Close or OK.

- Answer yes to restart the computer.

- Once restarted, if the msconfig window appears you can just close it.

Click on No to restart if it asks.
