Poisonsnak Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 Prime95 fail is typically an indicator that your CPU needs more volts, but I never run prime until I pass memtest. Though 8 hours is a damn long time to go without a failure.. Did you pass the full set of memtest at those settings? Once I had a prime fail at 2 hours or so, gave the CPU .05 more and it's 48 hour prime stable now. What is your FSB, and ram speed (they had better be 1:1 hehe) at these timings?
