m0ng0d Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 My MIC works fine when plugged directly into the I/O panel connections in the rear. I decided to use the front panel for audio, so I removed the jumpers and connected the the panel connection to the mobo. After plugging my mic into the front panel, no more MIC. I have tried the frontx panel as well as my MediaXP panel... mobo problem? or wuz I supposed to move one of the wires on the frontx? m0ng0d Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 Now I know what "Alternate Microphone" is for in the "Advanced Controls for Microphone" property page... which relates to "Microphone 2" in the nVMixer. only prob is that the nVMixer keeps defaulting back to Microphone when you open it... bringing back the silence... and selecting "Microphone 2" in the nVMixer is "ignored". annoying, but at least I know it is not the boards fault. damn drivers:p
m0ng0d Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 my issue where ... nVMixer kept defaulting back to Microphone when I opened it... bringing back the silence... and selecting "Microphone 2" in the nVMixer is "ignored". ... was totally solved by the nVidia 5.10 driver pack
