road-runner Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 I took the water cooling off my 2900s last month or month before so I had the MCR-320 laying around and a new DDC-3.2 w/petras top that has been setting on the shelf for a few months I said what the heck I have a little free time today. Dug out an old swiftech apogee gt block and put it on my best Q6600, the one I benched at 4.2Ghz and the RMA GA P35 DS4 that came today for the one the lightning took out. I got it folding at 3960mhz, any higher and it gets to hot. Its like almost 80f up stairs in the room where the rig is. I will take 3960 with a piss poor water block and summer time...
