VenuS Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 (edited) Damian: This Corsair 700 W PSU is overkill for the system i'am trying to build. I asked the Corsair in email and they replyed that if i go for Quad and two 8800 GTS in SLI, so there is 620W, HX series PSU wich is SLI certified is good for me. So 700w for a single card and quad is way overkill and even if i go for that PSU for a SLI setup then those mobos is not for me. Right now i run my sig with the 8800 GTS and 420W Tagan and have no problem at all, even after couple of hours of Crysis the PSU fans are still runing at low speeds, Tagan is also very good PSUs and this one serve already for 3 years, 24/7. By the way, got 12 K in mark05 with this setup, all at stock. Guys, is there anything to expect soon from AMD? I mean some kick-intel-** CPU or is it not even close. Something new this year at all?
