Trying To Oc This Cpu..

That's really only a marginal difference, I believe higher FSBs are better, but just go either way. Have you tested for stability?

 

 

Yeah, good stability, what else can i do so i can keep up the oc? what about other options?

I'm not sure what you're asking for. You know how to get the frequency up (crank the FSB). You obviously know how to keep your RAM in spec if you got 255 FSB working stable. Vcore is the only real thing left to toy with if it's your CPU maxing out, in which case you want to stay under 1.5 volts and watch the temps.

AMD sells certain chips as unlocked (called Black Editions). If it's not one of those, you simply can't unlock it.

 

What are you using to test your OC stability?

Games...COD4, if it reboots then oc is bad

 

i tried clockgen but it doesn't support my mobo........do you know any windows oc tool like clockgen?

You should really think about using a real stability test like Prime95 or OCCT. Using games to test stability is very inaccurate.

 

Also, what made you stop where you did on the OC. Do games crash at higher settings?
