cirro Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Ok, so general question, may differ for most people, as I do, i have multiple programs loadin with windows (not to include all the services i havent disable on vista yet ha) utorrent, and various other programs, now when im using superpi or prime95 do most people just run the program with minimal system processes, or should i just run it in the background while i do my usual (not gaming of course)????? jammin Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Personally, when I am stability testing, that is generally all I am doing. Therefore I tend to just run Orthos for example and not do anything else. I don't think it matters too much to be honest, at least for quick and dirty stability testing. Serious testing should always be done on it's own in my opinion, say overnight for example.
