xly15 Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I was thinking about getting an Arctic cooling Accelero S1 Rev2 to help cool my 3850. Also it's to make it silent. The stock cooling fan makes an incessant clicking noise. Should i go for it?

xly15 Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Just put on the accelero s1 rev2. That thng is huge. It almost hits the side of the case. Later will try some gaming to see what happens to the temps.
xly15 Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 I just did some gaming. The temps leveled off at 47C . That's very good for passive cooling. The temps are decreasing very quickly too.

xly15 Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 the accelero is pretty good for being a passive cooler. Just waiting for the TIM to set in. It lowers temps pretty fast. I'm thinking about getting the turbo module for it.
xly15 Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Do you guys think I should get the turbo module for the Accelero S1 or just a regular 120mm fan? Both are the same price. The 120mm fan I'm looking at is this Scythe DFS123812-3000 "ULTRA KAZE" 120 x 38 mm Case Fan good air flow.
