Newport Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Some of you probably read my post a few weeks ago concerning a safe mode boot gone FUBAR. (For those of you who didnt read it, here it is) http://forums.overclockersclub.com/index.php?showtopic=75874 Well, I kinda lost the drive to get this computer fixed until today. I did some research and found a new audio driver for my notebook that might solve the issue. (audio is the only thing I really want back) Well, halfway through the installation, I get an error message: "Microsoft Bus Driver should be loaded into your system before installing Realtec HD audio driver!" Does this have something to do with the fact that nothing shows up in my Device Manager window? How can I solve this error message? Thanks, Newport

draxen Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Personally I'd just reinstall Windows. It helps to do this once every 6 months or so. I use Acronis TrueImage. Install Windows + all your drivers and then take an image. Problem solved and you can restore your computer in just a couple of mins if something goes wrong in the future.
