Rant to D-tek

Recommended Posts

Working on my new build....

had to walk away....

The D-tek fuzion appears to be a quality block... but would it have KILLED them to make the spacing between the input and output barb maybe just 1/8" more?????

Come on... it is quite a challenge to get quality thick walled tubing AND hose clamps on both!

just 1/8" of an inch would have made it sooooo much easier!...

I'm sure it will cool great, but Come on!

Ok end of Rant...

carry on

Yea it is a little tight, I put the clamp down low on one barb and the other one right above that on the other barb...

I was thinking about a drop of dishsoap...

ended up using a smaller clamp on one of them and get them in...

System is working GREAT!!

Also switched out my Hydor L30 (been running 24/7 for several years!! for a new Laing D5

This pump is awesome.. I guess I didn't even know how noisy my Hydor was.... when I first started this up... I couldn't even tell if it was running! Sweet!
