exeter_acres Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Working on my new build.... had to walk away.... The D-tek fuzion appears to be a quality block... but would it have KILLED them to make the spacing between the input and output barb maybe just 1/8" more????? Come on... it is quite a challenge to get quality thick walled tubing AND hose clamps on both! just 1/8" of an inch would have made it sooooo much easier!... I'm sure it will cool great, but Come on! Ok end of Rant... carry on

hardnrg Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 the first time I tried it, I ended up smearing sunflower oil on the outside of the tube to lube it up for the worm drive clamps to slip into place
exeter_acres Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 I was thinking about a drop of dishsoap... ended up using a smaller clamp on one of them and get them in... System is working GREAT!! Also switched out my Hydor L30 (been running 24/7 for several years!! for a new Laing D5 This pump is awesome.. I guess I didn't even know how noisy my Hydor was.... when I first started this up...
