road-runner Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 My niece has a Toshiba Laptop that came with Vista on it and wanted me to put XP on it, so I did and have been folding with it until she gets around to picking it up. It does ok for a 1.73Ghz laptop I guess. Fahmon benchmarks below. Project : 2653 Core : Gromacs SMP Frames : 100 Credit : 1760 -- Laptop -- Min. Time / Frame : 33mn 39s - 753.16 ppd Avg. cchalogamer Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Yeah these old crippled Core Duos get the job done, but SMP folding really needs more L2 to really get things started. Oh well they get the job done.
