Ok.. Taken me a while but after some tweaks and another stick of ram I got my home rig running really nice. (see my sig)

 

Got this critter running at:

 

1847.89 MHz

 

multiplier - x9.0

 

Buss speed - 205.3 MHz

 

 

I'm thinking on taking it up some more..

you should, thats a good start as far as OCing goes, but that MSI board should be allowing you to go a little higher!

I plan on it. checking everything out and, my temps and all. So far, and am not surprised, it's running very smooth.

And don't forget to stress test your OC after you are done to check for true stability

whilst under load? so for example folding?

just a quick update. System ran all night folding and this morning temps are still stable.

 

They did up a degree but still stable.

I wish I had temps that low

I first thought my temp readings were in error like my office rig, but after checking everything out I believe they are true readings.

 

Now to push this baby higher...

 

I put a lot of work into the cooling of my rig. I have some really good air flow. Only thing that bothers me is the stock heatsink and I have a new one on the way.
