kingdingeling Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Can EM3 see GPU folding? I installed the x1950Pro today, and obviously went and installed GPU folding, but EM3 only recognizes that client as unkown and the little green screen where you usually have a blue one if the its a gromacs core you're working on. Where it is supposed to show the protein, it only says "Protein name".... Ohh, and I hate ATI for making the 6.12 drivers incompatible with GPU folding, I had to go through thr whole process of cleaning drivers AGAIN before I could finally kick it off! Nemo Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 From what I've read over at the folding community forum the answer is "No". BTW - keep us posted on how that GPU performs will ya?
kingdingeling Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 GPU performs like crazy, only bad thing bout it is that the fan is always on high, but thats the vid cards fault, not folding.... This thing is mad annoying!
