O(V)eGA_l2el) Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Anyone know of any lightweight tool that can allow various multiple display modes such as "Cloning?" In the past I have used an LCD monitor in combination with a standard definition television via S-Video cabling. I would like a free alternative to Nvidia's built-in multiple display wizard and options.
gotdamojo06 Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 When I had my dual monitor setup on my old computer I tried the program, ultramon. It works great, but I didnt want to fork out the money for the program. If I remember correctly, you can set each monitor to a different screensaver, as well as background, or if you get a long wallpaper image, it can streach from one to the other, which I thought was cool. http://www.download.com/UltraMon/3000-2347...tml?tag=lst-0-1 Dont know if this was what you were looking for but that was my 2 cents... xPETEZx Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Ultramon will do eXactly what you want. Its very good. You do have to pay for it though, well, I had it for ages, and never realised you had to pay, till one day it demanded an activation code. Try it out before you buy, but im sure you will be happy with it. Its awesome!
