I don't know how you should install it, anyway you like really. I however would install it on the empty 130gig partition and retain the other two partitions as, say, music and photo's on one and video's on the other.

well hopefully, you have just windows & programs installed on your C: partition & All of your music/movies/other files on your D: & E: partitions.

If thats the case, just boot off the MCE disk & erase your C:, format it as NTFS & install :)

so...before you do that, how do you have your partitions set up? (do you have it like i described?)

Well on C i have all programs.. D Games E: downloads and other stuff... should i create another partition out of E and install it there? i dont really want to uninstall this version of windows im not sure if the other one will be able to run all the programs tha ti want.

Oh yeah those sizes are the total.. the free amoung of HD left is...

C: 5 Gigs out of 18

D: 18 gigs out of 40

E:52 gigs out of 130

Although im getting a new HD in like a month so i will be transfering everything from E to the new drive

So is it possible for me to install it on the E: Drive or create a new partition out of it... and install windows oon the new partition"?

media center is home with the media module. not pro

Is that new? I admit, I havent sold it since its first release years ago, but MS always made such a big deal about it being Pro during their vists to our Gateway Country Store.

Quit being a pansy and install Windows. Put the CD in the drive and reboot, it will tell you to press a key to boot from CD, and then walk you through it. Not hard. Post again if you get stuck for some reason.
