I believe the transfer rate was closer to 120MB/s compared to DVD 16x's 22MB/s Edit: Haha, the article DOES say it, your additional comment on the bottom doesn't. Uber Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 hmmm sounds cool a while ago i read a thing about a university or something that was able to store data in a sliver of crystal using a lser to record it in and then hold it there. sound to me like a similar thing, although this Maxeel thing is much closer to everyday life than the other. still cool though.
